Childs Pose / Embryo

Set Up - knees comfortably wide or narrow (I prefer wider than my torso), tops of feet flat on ground and feet together, move buttocks back towards or to heals

Childs pose

  • sit back on or towards heels
  • forehead on ground
  • arms shoulder distance apart, elbows bent and on ground, palms face down
  • relax your brain, relax your muscles, let your bones become your structure and breathe-3-5 breaths

Or/

Embryo

  • exhale and move buttocks back to or towards heels, forehead on ground, arms and hands back to sides, palms face up
  • breathe into low back hips thighs and along spine
  • surrender any tension to the earth through the breath

Which One Should I Do?

Whichever is more comfortable and conducive to relaxation especially neck and shoulder comfort at any given moment
